Peggy Ryan Williams Center Achieves LEED Platinum

The new Peggy Ryan Williams Center at Ithaca College has met the requirements for LEED Platinum certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. TWLA provided detailed site design, construction documentation, and construction administration for the building site and associated new campus entry plaza and donor recognition garden at Ithaca College. The new Williams Center was designed by HOLT Architects and houses the Office of Admissions, the Office of Human Resources, and the college’s executive offices.

In addition to the new plaza and recognition garden, TWLA designed several green roof areas and a parking area utilizing porous asphalt paving. Only native plants have been used for the site landscape and a no-mow lawn minimizes maintenance requirements.
